Requirements

• University degree (preferably engineering, business administration and economy faculties) • min 4 years of experience in category management or a related role with a focus on key account management, inventory management and commercial operations, • Exceptional communication, persuasion and team working skills, • Strong problem solving and decision making skills, • Project or process management experience is a plus, • Able to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, • Active user of MS Office programs, • Data-driven decision-making: Proactive and curious, with a passion for exploring detail and using data to drive clarity and decision-making. • Strong communication skills: Able to convey complex ideas in a simple and impactful way, with a genuine and thoughtful communication style. • Collaborative approach: Builds effective relationships at all levels, valuing diverse perspectives. • This position includes senior specialist and executive titles/roles.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up of new trends in the market and competitor analysis, • Developing business relations with local brands and distributors of worldwide known brands in the retail sector, • Conducting commercial negotiations with brands and suppliers and securing the most profitable deals. • Increasing the engagement of the brands and suppliers about the commercial actions with marketing support or discounts etc. • Optimizing stock turnover rates, establishing a healthy stock balance • Meticulously managing the product "go-live" process. • Determining pricing strategies, increasing sales momentum by using campaigns and promotional tools and managing Buy Box competition. • Approaching manual and inefficient processes with a critical perspective. Suggesting improvements focused on automation and efficiency. • Executing and also reporting all operational processes of the category team, • Arranging coordination between Operation Department and the Brands • Partnering with marketing and technology teams for the best shopping experience.
