sweedpos.com - Middle Product Owner [E-commerce Team]
Requirements
• WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON • Own eCommerce product features end-to-end — from discovery and understanding business needs through development, launch, and iteration. • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvements. • Translate business needs into clear, structured product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Analyze user journeys, business logic, dependencies, and edge cases to ensure solutions are well thought through before development. • Manage and continuously adapt the product roadmap, aligning priorities with business goals, customer needs, and changing requirements in a fast-paced, agile environment. • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing customer needs, business value, technical constraints, and development capacity. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and other Product teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery. • Take ownership of feature delivery, proactively resolve blockers, clarify requirements, and keep stakeholders aligned through transparent communication. • Monitor product performance after launch, analyze customer feedback and relevant metrics, and identify opportunities for further improvements. • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable hands-on product role. • Experience working with B2B SaaS or other complex technology products; eCommerce or retail experience is a strong plus. • A background in Business Analysis or Project Management is a strong plus, especially for candidates who have transitioned into Product Management. • Proven experience owning product features end-to-end — from discovery and requirements definition through development, launch, and iteration. • Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Ability to analyze user journeys, business processes, dependencies, and edge cases, with strong attention to detail. • Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle. • Strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems, analyze product metrics, evaluate trade-offs, and make data-driven product decisions. • Ability to prioritize features and improvements based on customer needs, business value, technical constraints, and available resources. • Proactive mindset, high ownership, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • English at B2+ level or higher for effective collaboration with international and US-based stakeholders. • WHAT ELSE MATTERS? • Product thinking — You start with the problem, customer context, and expected outcome rather than immediately jumping to features. • Execution focus — You can define a direction and then work closely with the team to turn it into a real product. • Entrepreneurial mindset — You identify opportunities, propose solutions, and find a way forward without relying on a rigid process. • Structured thinking — You can organize incomplete and conflicting information, identify missing context, and explain your reasoning clearly. • Adaptability — You can adjust your approach when priorities, customer needs, or market conditions change. • Communication — You make progress, decisions, risks, and dependencies visible to the people around you. • Business judgment — You understand that a B2B product needs to balance long-term strategy with customer and commercial realities. • Accountability — You are comfortable making decisions and taking responsibility for the result.
