We expect every employee, in every role, to build fluency with the AI tools relevant to their work, use them thoughtfully and with sound judgment, and bring curiosity as these tools keep evolving. This isn't about replacing our people's expertise — it's about equipping every employee to use AI to raise the bar on the work we do together.
Responsibilities
• Act as the global "Product Owner" for the Vertex ecosystem, including O-Series (calculation), E-Invoicing, and Tax Compliance reporting. • Drive the end-to-end localization of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM and HRIS) to ensure compliance with country-specific legal and regulatory nuances. • Analyze complex global local regulations to convert them into clear, scalable technical requirements and system controls. • Implement changes required by evolving global tax laws and the rapid expansion of digital e-invoicing mandates. • Lead the multi-year transition of all global entities to Vertex Tax, managing country prioritization, stakeholder alignment, and rigorous UAT (User Acceptance Testing). • Be a key member of the multi-year transition of all global entities to a new HRIS and CRM, ensuring the new systems comply with local laws. Partner with Revenue Ops and HR to embed compliance into the sales cycle (CPQ and Billing) and statutory Payroll and Labor reporting. • Ensure all systems are "always-on" for audits across different jurisdictions, maintaining rigorous documentation of tax logic and integration workflows. • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Internal Audit, External Auditors, and global Tax advisors. • Gather "evidence of control" (e.g., screenshots of approvals, logs) to demonstrate compliance, and capture IT General Control (ITGC) requirements, translating these financial mandates into technical system configurations within Vertex and the ERP.
