materialsecurity - Sr. Manager, Content Marketing
Requirements
• 7+ years in content marketing, editorial, tech journalism, or security research writing, with meaningful time in B2B, security or infrastructure. • WRITING AUTHORITY: • Exceptional writing and editing with a portfolio spanning long-form research or reporting, technical explainers, and sharp short-form. You produce the work, not just the plan. • DATA STORYTELLING: • A track record of turning datasets, telemetry, or survey research into published work that earned coverage and citations. • SECURITY FLUENCY: • Enough depth to interview a detection engineer without a translator and be credible with a CISO reader. You don't need to write detection rules; you need to never write fluff. • MODERN DISTRIBUTION: • Working knowledge of SEO and hands-on conviction about AEO/GEO: AI answers, not just search rankings, now decide who makes the shortlist. • EDITORIAL OWNERSHIP: • Experience running a content function end to end: strategy, calendar, production, review, publication, distribution, measurement. • Opinions about what makes security content worth reading, and receipts. • Material Security is a remote-first workplace with an office in San Francisco, California. • By clicking "Apply for this Job", you acknowledge that you have read the California Candidate Privacy Notice Regarding Use of Personal Information https://material.security/ccpa and hereby agree to its terms.
