Altamira.ai - Senior DevOps Engineer
Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering roles • Advanced expertise in Kubernetes, including managed cloud platforms (EKS, GKE, AKS) and on-premise environments • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation • Proven experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable architectures on AWS • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Jenkins) • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience mentoring team members and contributing to team growth • Experience leading teams in customer-facing environments • Exposure to AI-driven DevOps or LLMOps • AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) • HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade platforms across cloud and on-prem environments • Optimize infrastructure based on AWS Well-Architected principles • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation • Build and maintain monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) • Improve system reliability, security, and resilience • Proactively diagnose and resolve production issues • Promote DevOps best practices and continuous improvement • Mentor engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing • Translate business needs into scalable and sustainable technical solutions • Align platform strategies with organizational goals
