• 2 to 4 years in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, finance operations or business operations • Zero to One mindset: Prior experience in scaling operations in fast paced teams, ideally at a Series A through C high growth startup • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot). You have built workflows, custom properties, pipelines, lists and dashboards in it yourself, not just worked inside an existing build. • Range over specialization. You are curious about the whole revenue engine rather than one corner of it. • Iterative building approach: asking what the team is trying to accomplish before tooling, being able to pivot fast depending on outcomes and documenting as you go to ensure we build for scale. • Process first, then AI. You define the durable, scalable process before automating it, then use AI to make it faster and more accurate. You have shipped something real this way and have a point of view on where the tooling falls short. • Precision with data. You check your own work, trace a number back to its source, and know the difference between a number that is right and a number that looks right. • Clear written communication across sales, finance, customer success and support. • HubSpot Operations Hub, or SFDC/HubSpot certifications • SQL, Metabase, or another BI tool • Billing or finance systems exposure, especially Stripe • Enrichment or outbound tooling: Cargo, Unify, Apollo • Finance, Deal desk, quoting or contract operations exposure • Some candidates may see the list above and feel discouraged because they don't match all the items.
