Requirements
• 5-10 years of proven experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related operational roles. • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and deliver solutions for employees and business partners. • Strong project management skills: detail, process-oriented, systems thinker, able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Highly collaborative, capable of working with diverse stakeholders, and developing practical, scalable solutions for people-related topics. • Self-driven operator and a willingness to think outside the box to move fast. • Experience scaling a startup, with a proven ability to design and implement processes for a rapidly growing organization. • Experience with People Analytics and creating dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to track trends and inform strategy. • Experience building databases, and improving HR operational systems. • Familiarity with emerging AI tools • Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of People Operations within Sierra HR department in San Francisco, CA. This includes recruiting, onboarding, training and retaining employees to ensure a high level of talent acquisition for the company's needs. • Oversee employee relations by fostering an inclusive work environment that promotes diversity and inclusion through regular communication with staff members at all levels within Sierra HR department. This includes addressing any concerns or issues raised during performance reviews, exit interviews, etc., to ensure a positive working experience for employees while maintaining company culture standards. • Develop strategic plans related to talent acquisition by identifying key skills and competencies required in the People Operations team at Sierra HR department based on current business needs as well as future growth projections within the organization's industry sector; this includes creating job descriptions, posting open positions internally or externally through various channels such as company website/social media platforms (LinkedIn), etc., while ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. • Collaborate closely with other departments within Sierra HR department to ensure alignment of goals across teams; this includes working directly alongside Operations, IT Support Services & Finance Departments among others when necessary for cross-functional projects or initiatives that require input from multiple areas such as technology upgrades/improvements needed in People Operations processes etc., while maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information shared during these collaborative efforts. • Monitor employee performance metrics regularly through various methods including but not limited to regular check-ins with team members via one-on-one meetings or phone calls; this includes providing constructive feedback on areas of improvement identified from previous evaluations while also recognizing outstanding achievements made by individuals within the People Operations department at Sierra HR. • Develop and implement training programs aimed towards enhancing employee skills related specifically to their roles in managing people operations processes such as recruitment strategies, interview techniques etc.; this includes identifying appropriate resources available internally or externally (e.g., online courses) that align with company values while ensuring all employees have access equal opportunities for professional development within Sierra HR department'softheir respective roles in People Operations management processes without discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation etc.. • Maintain compliance with federal and state employment laws regarding visa sponsorship requirements when hiring international candidates into the company; this includes ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately before any offers are extended towards potential employees who may require such services while also providing resources available within Sierra HR department should questions arise during these processes. • Participate actively in diversity and inclusion efforts by attending regular meetings with other managers/leaders across different departments at Sierra HR; this includes sharing best
