• Shape multi-year technical strategy for the company's technology direction over the next 3-5 years. • Lead engineering execution and build high-performing teams with a focus on mentoring senior leaders within these groups. • Translate company strategies into architectural visions, leading transformative initiatives across various platforms including legacy systems, new service delivery mechanisms, and AI-native solutions. • Establish guiding principles for decision making in areas of modernization, platform development, and integration with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence. • Develop a clear 2-3 year architectural roadmap that aligns engineering, product, data, and business teams around the company's strategic goals. • Drive best practices across CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, infrastructure management, developer experience enhancements, and delivery process optimization to improve efficiency and quality of work. • Own and continuously refine the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring operationalization processes are in place for tracking metrics, reporting on progress, optimizing team workflows, and maintaining high standards across all stages of SDLC. • Develop a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity strategy that includes policy creation, risk assessment, incident response planning, security awareness training programs, regular audits, compliance checks with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR), and continuous monitoring for potential threats to the organization's digital assets. • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging adaptability among team members in embracing new technologies and tools that can enhance productivity and efficiency within engineering teams, while also ensuring alignment with company strategy through regular strategic planning sessions involving cross-functional stakeholders to maintain focus on the organization's growth objectives. • Act as a succession planner for potential Chief Technology Officer roles by preparing high-potential candidates internally based on their demonstrated leadership and technical skills, ensuring they are ready to step into these critical positions when opportunities arise within or outside of DISHER.
