Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including project implementation and support. • Advanced certification in Construction and SCM. • Deep knowledge of the construction industry — its terminology, business operations, and common project structures (general contracting, subcontracting, specialty trades, residential and/or commercial construction). • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements independently. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Experience mentoring or leading teams in a consulting environment. • Accounting experience in the construction field. • Experience in mid-sized to enterprise-level consulting firms. • Project management certification or equivalent experience. • Prior experience with publisher escalation processes. • Passionate about using technology to simplify and improve client operations. • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability. • Integrity-focused — you make the right call, even when no one is watching. • Persistent and tenacious in driving outcomes. • A natural learner and teacher, eager to grow and share knowledge. • An excellent listener who can quickly understand client needs and respond effectively.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage Sage Intacct Construction implementations and module add-ons with minimal oversight. • Provide timely client support — resolving or escalating support cases within 24 hours. • Maintain at least 70% billable utilization by efficiently managing time and client expectations. • Offer strategic insights to clients on new functionality, helping them plan for the future. • Document activities clearly and thoroughly on timecards to avoid billing disputes. • Mentor and guide junior consultants through leveling chats, group discussions, and project support. • Collaborate with Project Managers and fellow consultants to ensure accurate project plans and timely task completion. • Identify out-of-scope items, assist with change order creation, and escalate issues as needed. • Maintain advanced certification in key Sage Intacct modules, including Construction and SCM.
