Requirements

• A mechanical engineering background or hands-on CNC machining experience. • Confidence reading drawings and discussing tolerances, materials and lead times. • Clear communication, and composure when a date slips or a part is wrong. • Strong organisation across several accounts and many open orders. • We are open to early-career engineers with the right technical grounding. • Account management, customer success or technical sales in manufacturing. • CAM, quoting or estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of customer accounts as their main point of contact. • Run technical calls with customer engineers, review drawings for manufacturability and give practical DFM feedback. • Prepare quotes with factory and CAM teams. • Track every active order, and raise schedule or quality risk before the customer has to ask. • Visit customers on site to understand their projects and what they need on cost, quality and lead time. • Work with Quality on nonconformance and corrective action. • Grow your accounts alongside the wider commercial team.
