Requirements
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify talent without relying on ad responses • Experience hiring for AWS or similar technical roles • End-to-end recruitment experience across permanent and contract hiring • Ability to understand and discuss technical role requirements • Skilled at managing multiple requisitions in a high-growth environment • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities • High attention to detail and excellent written communication • Experience recruiting for cloud consultancies or tech services organisations • Experience with AI, ML, or data science recruitment • Familiarity with recruitment automation tools • Background in scaling businesses (50–200+ employees) • Knowledge of IR35 and UK tech contract recruitment • Understanding of DE&I best practices • Experience with employer branding or recruitment marketing
Responsibilities
• TALENT ACQUISITION • Deliver full-cycle recruitment for AWS engineering, architecture, AI, and commercial roles • Create effective sourcing strategies and build pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill positions • Manage both permanent and contract hiring • Handle screening, interviews, and offer processes while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience • STAKEHOLDER PARTNERSHIP • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership • Provide market insights, talent mapping, and data-driven hiring recommendations • Coach managers on best practices, structured interviewing, and DE&I considerations • EMPLOYER BRANDING & CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE • Champion Cloudscaler’s culture, values, and career opportunities • Identify ways to strengthen our employer value proposition and recruitment marketing • Represent Cloudscaler at industry events and meet-ups • DATA & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT • Maintain accurate ATS data and track key recruitment metrics • Identify opportunities to refine processes and stay ahead of tech recruitment trends • THIS ROLE WILL BE A PARTICULARLY GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO: • Is comfortable in an environment where processes evolve as we scale • Is motivated by commission and performance-driven goals • Uses recruitment tools as an enabler, not a dependency • Enjoys hands-on sourcing as a core part of the role • Values building and nurturing long-term, passive talent networks • Takes initiative and delivers; enjoys autonomy and feels comfortable navigating ambiguity • Has a genuine interest in AWS, cloud technology, and emerging AI • Brings a consultative, problem-solving mindset to complex hiring challenges • Uses data and metrics to guide decisions and improve outcomes • Is passionate about refining and automating recruitment processes • Shows resilience, creativity, and persistence in a competitive market • Embodies our values of mastery, integrity, and community • Reflects regularly on performance and looks for ways to grow
