bestow - Business Systems Analyst (1099 Contract)
Requirements
• Experienced. 2+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in insurance, financial services, or SaaS. • Requirements-fluent. Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications. • Data-comfortable. Able to interpret and organize complex product configuration data sets. • Domain-aware. Familiarity with policy administration systems or underwriting workflows is a plus. • A clear communicator. Comfortable working directly with Bestow’s clients and our internal teams, in writing and verbally. • Tool-proficient. Proficiency with Google Sheets, JIRA, Confluence, and a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Grist. • Degreed or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
• We're looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Implementation team for a defined 6 month engagement, helping deliver data driven solutions to some of the largest names in the insurance industry: • Gather requirements. You’ll document and deliver business requirements to Bestow for complex configuration data sets. • Work directly with carriers. Engage stakeholders at insurance carriers to document key scope decisions for assigned project(s). • Translate requirements. You’ll turn business requirements into technical specifications that Bestow’s engineering team can build against for assigned project(s).
