Geotab - Team Lead, Software Development

Geotab is seeking a Team Lead, Software Development who will lead the people, practices and technical delivery behind Geotab's global web presence and other Marketing-supported platforms. This role will help create reliable, accessible and high-performing digital experiences that support brand, campaign and demand-generation goals. If you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader, we would love to hear from you! • Eight or more years of experience in software development, including significant experience delivering production web applications. • Two or more years of experience leading, coaching or mentoring software developers, or equivalent technical leadership experience. • Strong experience building and operating responsive, accessible and high-performance websites and web applications. • Technical proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C#/.NET, SQL, Git and CI/CD practices. • Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment practices, preferably using GCP and Docker. • Experience with content management systems, design systems, component libraries, web analytics, SEO, experimentation and privacy considerations. • A post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Strong written and verbal communication, project planning, prioritization, stakeholder management and collaboration skills. • A commitment to inclusive team practices, psychological safety, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. • If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Geotab offers various perks and benefits and other compensation components that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience, including the location the applicant lives while performing the job. This also includes equity with other team members and alignment with local market data.
