Wing Assistant - Healthcare Virtual Assistant (US)
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in medical fields or the pharmaceutical-related industry. • At least 3 years experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant; preference for Psychiatry/Psychiatric Clinic background. • Excellent English communication skills (C1 level). • Solid understanding of medical terminologies and practices. • Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems with troubleshooting ability. • Understanding healthcare privacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Organizational & time management skills; keen attention to details required. • Tech savvy and familiarity with current technologies (desktop sharing, cloud services, VoIP). • Ability to work on a graveyard shift.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the healthcare team and patients remotely as a Virtual Assistant for Wing HealthCare Solutions in New York City. This includes managing patient communications via email, phone calls, and video conferencing; scheduling appointments with doctors or specialists; updating medical records securely through our electronic system; providing information on healthcare services offered by Wing Clinics across the US to patients inquiring online; assisting in organizing community outreach events virtually. • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient data, ensuring secure communication channels are used for all interactions involving personal health information (PHI). This includes using encrypted email services or platforms approved by Wing HealthCare Solutions to communicate PHI between the Virtual Assistant, patients, doctors, specialists, and administrative staff. • Monitor social media accounts associated with Wing Clinics on a daily basis for patient inquiries about healthcare information; respond promptly using predefined templates that provide accurate medical advice or direct them towards appropriate resources while maintaining professionalism at all times. This includes managing the clinic's Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages to engage with patients by posting updates on services offered, answering frequently asked questions (FAQs), sharing health tips related to Wing Clinics’ specialties such as cardiology or orthopedics, responding promptly to patient inquiries about appointment availability. • Assist the marketing team of Wing HealthCare Solutions by creating and managing content for social media platforms that promote our services; this includes writing engaging posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram using keywords relevant to healthcare topics such as heart disease prevention or orthopedic care tips while maintaining a professional tone. This also involves monitoring analytics data provided by the marketing team and providing feedback based on patient demographics in New York City; for example, if most of our patients are aged 30-50 years old with interests related to fitness activities or healthy eating habits then creating content that caters specifically towards these topics. • Provide administrative support as a Virtual Assistant by managing the day-to-day operations remotely for Wing HealthClinics in New York City; this includes scheduling appointments with doctors and specialists, updating medical records securely through our electronic system using HIPAA compliant software tools provided by Wing Clinic Administration Services (WCA), responding promptly to patient emails or phone calls regarding appointment availability while maintaining confidentiality at all times. • Assist the marketing team of Wing HealthClinics in New York City with creating and managing content for social media platforms that promote our services; this includes writing engaging posts on Facebook, Twitter using keywords relevant to
