Axelera AI - Electrical Engineer

• You will independently set up and execute experiments to test and characterise our products, analyse the outcome and provide expert consultation working with design and support teams in meeting evolving product requirements and customer needs. • MS in EE/CE/CS or related field with focus on embedded systems, computer architecture, or hardware engineering. • Strong hands-on experience with embedded systems, including electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/power analysers), embedded programming (C/C++, Python), firmware development, and debugging across drivers, OS internals, and applications. • Solid understanding of computer architecture and system-level behaviour, including processors, memory, interconnects, and power/performance optimisation techniques such as DVFS, clock gating, and power gating. • Expertise in power and thermal analysis and performance characterisation, including familiarity with power measurement tools, and data analysis. • Proven problem-solving skills with a structured approach to root cause analysis and independent technical investigation. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across hardware, firmware, and software teams. • Self-motivated and organized, able to manage multiple priorities. • Fluency in English. • This role is an on-site position based in our office in Zurich. • This is your chance to shape and be part of a dynamic, fast-growing, international organization.
