Requirements
• Strong experience in UK and international transfer pricing, including practical delivery of documentation and policy work. • Exposure to advising high-growth and/or private equity-backed businesses (or a strong interest in this client segment), including transaction and cross-border considerations. • Confidence managing multiple workstreams, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with senior client teams. • A pragmatic, commercial mindset, focused on solutions, not just technical detail. • A collaborative approach and interest in working across disciplines to deliver outcomes at pace. • Experience coaching junior colleagues and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities
• Manage and deliver transfer pricing engagements end-to-end, supporting CFOs and tax leaders of high-growth businesses with international expansion and operating model changes. • Support private equity-backed transactions, including transfer pricing considerations linked to financing, leverage and cross-border structuring. • Prepare and review core transfer pricing deliverables (e.g., documentation, policy design, benchmarking, intercompany pricing frameworks), ensuring they are high quality and practical. • Help clients navigate OECD guidance, BEPS developments and local compliance expectations, translating requirements into clear actions. • Contribute to pre-sale structuring and IPO readiness workstreams, helping ensure transfer pricing policies are investor-ready and defendable. • Work collaboratively across Unity service lines (Finance, Deals, Commercial, Tax) to deliver joined-up solutions and spot adjacent opportunities for clients. • Use (and help improve) AI-enabled tools and automation to speed up analysis, enhance insight, and improve consistency in deliverables. • Coach and develop junior team members, supporting their growth through on-the-job mentoring and quality feedback. • Stay current on HMRC policy developments and global transfer pricing trends, bringing relevant insights into client conversations and delivery.
