Axiom - Infrastructure Finance Lawyer
Requirements
• Qualified lawyer eligible to practice in the UK with the right to work in the UK. • Demonstrated experience advising on project finance and infrastructure finance transactions, including large-scale infrastructure developments. • Experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting project financing arrangements, including LMA documentation, concession agreements, and PFI/PPP structures. • Experience gained at leading law firms within project finance or infrastructure finance teams; in-house or secondment experience is advantageous but not essential. • Strong commercial awareness, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal solutions.
Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and support on infrastructure finance and project finance transactions, including the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of complex financing arrangements for large-scale infrastructure projects. • Draft, negotiate, and review key financing documentation including loan agreements, LMA-based facility agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary documents. • Support transactions across sectors such as energy (including renewables and power plants), transportation (roads, rail, airports), utilities, and digital infrastructure. • Manage domestic and cross-border transactions, coordinating with lenders, developers, funding parties, and external counsel. • Conduct legal analysis and due diligence, reviewing concession agreements and project documentation to identify and mitigate potential risks.
