Requirements
• Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a tech, robotics, or fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in advanced Google Sheets and Excel, with the ability to create and manipulate complex financial models. • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. • "Comfort using emerging productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, scripting, workflow automation) to enhance efficiency." • Strong business acumen, with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders. • Knowledge of accounting principles and a solid understanding of financial statements. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills • Experience with scenario modeling and financial forecasting tools, as well as ERP tools like NetSuite; experience implementing FP&A planning tools (Planful, Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive) a plus!
Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of detailed financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions. • Perform regular variance analysis and provide insights into budget versus actual results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. • Develop and maintain dynamic scenario models to assess the financial impact of various business strategies and decisions. • Leverage advanced Excel/Google Sheets and ChatGPT to automate and simplify complex reporting processes, ensuring higher efficiency and accuracy. • Act as a trusted financial partner to business units, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their financial needs and deliver actionable insights. • Prepare clear, concise, and insightful financial commentary to explain variances, trends, and forecasts to stakeholders at all levels. • Apply solid knowledge of accounting principles to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and assist in closing processes.
