Payscale - Senior Financial Analyst

When you do run processes, you’re always thinking about how to make them better. • You like to dive into the data, run analyses, and then help make recommendations to others on how we can improve. • You’re adept at building relationships across the organization, helping translate what the numbers mean to others and what we should do about it. • 4+ years of financial analysis experience or a related field. Multiple years of experience in a relevant environment is more important than any specific amount of time. Relevant experience means SaaS/tech, PE or VC backed, and a high intensity environment. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. We do want to see steady progression in your career. • Experience in a SaaS business model is a strong positive, but we are ultimately looking for talent and fit • Demonstrated experience with go-to-market (GTM) FP&A reporting and analytics within a SaaS environment, including forecasting and analyzing ARR, bookings, pipeline, and the key drivers of revenue across segments such as new business, upsell, renewal, and churn. • We are a Microsoft shop. Please have excellent Excel skills, or be able to get there fast • Please be highly analytical, with a keen eye for detail and a learning mindset. • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders. • Be ok with working very hard, while being rewarded for it • Technical: you are proficient in Excel and have used Adaptive Insights in the past (or some sort of FP&A planning tool) • Accuracy: you strive for excellence and have great attention to detail. • Time management: you understand and are flexible when we need to re-prioritize work based on the needs of the business. • Tools You’ll Use: • Adaptive Insights • Payscale has an employee-centric remote-first model that provides you the flexibility to do your best work in a space that supports you, while also finding time to collaborate in person for the moments that matter. • In our remote-first model, employees can work from the location that works best for them.
