Vested - Director, Public Relations

• Actively works to improve Group Vested as a global business - top-line revenue, profitability, client portfolio, staffing, cultural, programs and services and more • Proactively consults clients on integrated marketing and communications strategies • Demonstrates firm knowledge of multi-channel programs and can lead a team of experts to execute on these program ideas and confidently articulate the benefits of paid, owned, earned and shared media and how to potentially leverage these channels to deliver better client programs • Converses with client regularly and understands client sentiment/mindset at all times • Is able to hold honest, “tough” conversations with client contacts to ensure the client is happy and the account is retained or growing • Works with the team to map out client relationships - who owns what relationships and ensures that the client relationship is owned at all levels • Leads planning and strategy workshops with clients to map business/comms goals and can build effective marketing and communications strategies that achieve those goals • Leads large-scale public relations and integrated programs for clients and sources new, qualified prospects • Leads and wins new business pitches - actively participating in first, second and final meetings as well as developing and finalizing proposals and programs independently • Identifies how to improve aspects of Vested’s new business and pitch process, grows a strong network with potential prospective clients and upsells additional programs and services to clients through consultation or creative ideas • We are a fully flexible agency.
