GitLab - Senior Manager, Total Rewards Operations

• Experience in Total Rewards, benefits, compensation operations, or a closely related People function in a global organization, with working knowledge of benefits administration and/or compensation processes and their dependencies. • Demonstrated people-management ability, including setting priorities, coaching team members, and developing operational capability. • A record of delivering accurate work across multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and time zones, supported by practical controls, root-cause analysis, and process improvements. • Clear written communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to explain processes and escalate risks. • Sound judgment with confidential data and sensitive team member matters. • Ability to use spreadsheets, human resources systems, and collaboration tools to manage workflows and validate data. • Fluency in artificial intelligence tools and the ability to use them responsibly to improve Total Rewards work and team processes. • Helpful, but not required: experience supporting a distributed, multi-country workforce or working with benefits vendors, brokers, salary surveys, equity grant operations, or compensation review cycles. • The Senior Total Rewards Operations Manager supports global total rewards programs, working with Payroll, Finance, People Operations, People Technology, Legal, People Business Partners, brokers, and vendors. The team's tools include Workday, Google Workspace, Slack, and Claude.
