The Trade Desk - Senior Technical Recruiter (AI Enabled & Talent Innovation)
Responsibilities
• Partner closely with Hiring Managers to deeply understand the function, team and requirements of open roles • Manage and drive full-cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback and offer management across all candidate levels • Find the best, brightest and most passionate people for The Trade Desk using creative and innovative sourcing strategies • Deliver scalable and forward-looking sourcing solutions to build strong, diverse pipelines of talent • Experiment with and build AI-powered solutions (e.g. AI agents, automation workflows, talent intelligence tools) to enhance sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement • Use low-code / no-code tools and “vibe coding” approaches to prototype and deploy recruiting tools that improve team productivity and candidate experience • Continuously explore, test and adopt emerging technologies (AI, automation, new recruiting tech) to drive innovation within Talent Acquisition • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate recruiting challenges into scalable, tech-enabled solutions, acting as a bridge between Talent Acquisition and technology • Influence business leaders and educate Hiring Managers on process, interview best practices and decision-making • Provide regular status updates to business stakeholders and maintain accurate tracking in the ATS • Build strong relationships with candidates and manage each stage of the hiring process with care to foster long-term engagement • Deliver a stellar candidate experience, creating new ways to surprise and delight candidates throughout the interview process • Implement and execute recruiting programmes to attract top talent • Represent The Trade Desk with integrity and professionalism, speaking authentically about our mission and culture • Maintain high levels of data integrity and apply a data-driven approach to recruiting • Ideally 6+ years of in-house experience, recruiting for Engineering roles • Demonstrated track record of building strong relationships and influencing Hiring Managers and cross-functional partners • Deep knowledge of the tech talent landscape across APAC, particularly within Software Engineering • Proven success in engaging and closing passive candidates across APAC, including those with competing offers from top-tier companies • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and build scalable talent pipelines • Strong curiosity and passion for exploring and building with new technologies, including AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging recruiting tech • Hands-on mindset with experience or strong interest in building solutions (e.g. workflows, automations, internal tools) using low-code, no-code, or lightweight coding approaches • Comfortable experimenting with new ideas, learning quickly, and iterating in a fast-evolving technology landscape • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace ambiguity, and adapt to change • Mindset & Approach • Builder mindset: You proactively identify inefficiencies and create solutions, rather than waiting for tools to exist • Technologically curious: You stay ahead of trends in AI, automation, and recruiting technology, and actively apply them to your work • Experimental: You are comfortable testing new approaches, failing fast, and scaling what works
