• Lead and develop people • Manage and grow a customer-aligned team of Mechanical and Project Engineers • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proactive planning • Coach and mentor engineers to strengthen technical excellence and delivery discipline • Drive customer alignment • Build a deep understanding of customer standards, expectations, and processes • Serve as the engineering escalation point for your assigned customer vertical • Partner closely with Program Engineers to ensure engineering output aligns with customer needs • Own engineering delivery • Oversee mechanical engineering execution from project handoff through closeout • Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality commitments are met • Own engineering resourcing decisions for aligned customer projects • Support and review pre-contract engineering estimates and schedules • Improve how work gets done • Monitor progress, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies • Drive continuous improvement in engineering delivery processes and tools • Track and report performance metrics for engineering execution within your vertical • What Success Looks Like • Engineers feel supported, clear, and empowered • Customers experience consistent, reliable delivery • Engineering work is predictable, scalable, and aligned • Risks are identified early, before they become issues
