Requirements
• Experience in at least one of the following: • Field application engineering • Field service engineering • Vending machine support • Payment terminal support • Retail automation • Industrial IoT • Hardware-plus-software deployment • Machine integration • Technical customer success for physical products • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems in front of customers. • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly. • Comfort with machines, devices, wiring, networking, logs, configuration, and field debugging. • Italian and/or Spanish strongly preferred. • Willingness to travel frequently. • Experience with vending machine systems, payment terminals, telemetry, POS, kiosks, or retail automation. • Experience supporting pilots or demos for industrial or retail technology products. • Experience with Linux devices, networking, sensors, edge devices, or cloud-connected hardware. • Experience working with both engineers and commercial teams. • Success in the first 90 days: • You support successful demos in key European markets. • You help the team understand customer technical requirements. • You create the first customer-facing technical documentation. • You identify repeatable field issues and help engineering prioritize fixes. • Success in the first 6-12 months: • The company has reliable demo and pilot support across multiple sites. • Customers see the company as technically competent and responsive. • The field feedback loop into product and engineering is strong.
Responsibilities
• Support technical demos with customers, operators, partners, and investors. • Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot demo systems and pilot deployments. • Travel between Bergamo, Zaragoza, and customer sites as needed. • Work with engineering teams to diagnose field issues • Help customers understand technical requirements and deployment steps. • Collect structured feedback from customers and partners. • Create installation guides, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and customer technical notes. • Support pilot rollouts, hardware testing, software validation, and demo preparation.
