ncontracts - Senior Product Manager
Requirements
• 4–7 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning meaningful product areas end-to-end • Strong product management foundation — You write crisp PRDs, run tight discovery cycles, prioritize with discipline, and communicate decisions clearly up and down the organization • Data-driven and analytical — You define success metrics before you build, instrument your features thoughtfully, and use data to drive prioritization and iteration • Customer discovery skills — You have a genuine habit of talking to customers, not just when required. You know how to run a good discovery interview and how to turn what you hear into product decisions • AI/ML product experience — You have shipped or meaningfully contributed to AI or ML-powered features, and you understand the unique challenges of building products where the output is probabilistic • AI-forward mindset — You actively use AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, Replit, Devin, Cursor, or similar) in your own workflow and are excited about their implications for how product gets built • Excellent communication skills — You write and speak clearly, adapt your message to your audience, and can represent your product confidently with customers and executives alike • What Makes You Successful • Builder mentality — You're energized by greenfield problems and bring structure to ambiguity without waiting to be told how • Systems thinker — You see how your area connects to the broader platform and make decisions with that context in mind • Collaborative and low-ego — You build trust quickly, share credit generously, and are as valuable in a working session as in a roadmap review • Intellectually curious — You stay current on data, AI, and marketplace trends and bring outside-in thinking to your product area • High ownership — You treat your product area like it's yours, follow through on commitments, and don't need a lot of hand-holding to make progress
Responsibilities
• Risk Assessment — Own the end-to-end assessment experience across inherent risk, residual risk, and due diligence workflows. Define how AI accelerates and augments the assessment process - from auto-populating risk scores based on collected evidence to surfacing gaps and recommending follow-up actions — while preserving the auditability and examiner-readiness that financial institutions require. • Vendor Lifecycle Management — Build and evolve the full vendor lifecycle in NextGen: onboarding, periodic review, ongoing oversight, and offboarding. Define the workflows, automation opportunities, and exception-based management model that allows risk teams to scale their programs without scaling headcount. • Contract Intelligence — Own the product strategy for how we ingest, classify, and extract intelligence from vendor contracts. • Reporting & Analytics - Define the reporting and analytics experience that gives risk officers, compliance teams, and executives the visibility they need across their vendor portfolio. Build toward a "manage by exception" model where AI surfaces what matters rather than requiring users to hunt for it. • AI-First Workflow Design — Across all of the above, lead the thinking on where AI creates genuine leverage — automated control assessments, intelligent prioritization, anomaly detection, narrative generation — and where human judgment must remain in the loop. Be the standard-bearer for what AI-native TPRM actually means in practice. • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver with quality and speed. Contribute to horizontal PRDs that span TPRM modules — including document intelligence and external risk signals — and require tight coordination across the team. • Customer Discovery — Maintain a continuous cadence of customer engagement with community banks and credit unions. Bring the voice of the customer into every prioritization discussion and use data and qualitative research together to make confident product decisions. • 1. Define AI-native TPRM workflows — Establish what best-in-class risk assessment and lifecycle management looks like when AI is a first-class participant, not an afterthought. Build a roadmap that sequences toward end-to-end orchestration. • 2. Ship a contract intelligence capability — Deliver an experience that transforms how customers interact with vendor contracts — from reactive document storage to proactive, extracted intelligence that informs risk decisions. • 3. Build a reporting and insights layer that scales — Replace static report exports with an AI-assisted analytics experience that helps risk teams manage by exception and communicate program health to stakeholders. • 4. Be a strong team contributor — Show up as a collaborative, low-ego teammate who makes the people around them better and contributes to a high-functioning product culture.
