Atticor - Lead Marketing Web Developer
Requirements
• 6+ years building production websites and landing pages, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role, with a portfolio of live work we can click through • Expert HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. You can build a polished, responsive page from scratch without a framework • Strong visual eye. You notice spacing, type, and hierarchy problems before a designer points them out • A track record of setting technical direction: you have chosen platforms, written standards, or led a site migration, and can explain the tradeoffs • Experience reviewing other developers' code and getting better work out of a team, contractors, or an agency • Hands-on experience with a landing page platform (Unbounce, Instapage, Webflow, or similar) and its limits • WordPress theme development experience (PHP templates, custom fields, hooks) • Mobile-first mindset and a track record of fast pages (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals) • Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and GA4 • Experience building and debugging forms: validation, hidden fields, spam prevention, and third-party integrations • Conversion rate optimization experience: you have run A/B tests and can talk about what won and why • Strong Git habits and experience setting up deploy, QA, and release workflows • Speed and judgment. You can turn a brief into a live page in a day or two and know which details matter • Clear communication with non-technical partners: media buyers, designers, attorneys, intake teams, and firm leadership • Full stack experience: Node.js, Next.js or React, REST APIs, SQL, Supabase or similar • Server-side tracking (Meta Conversions API, Google enhanced conversions, server-side GTM) • Background in legal, healthcare, financial services, or another regulated, lead-gen-heavy industry • Figma or design skills strong enough to produce a page without a designer • Experience building a component library or design system used across multiple brands or sites • Experience hiring or managing developers • What success looks like • First 30 days. You have shipped your first live landing pages and audited our existing pages, templates, and tracking. You know where the biggest gaps are. • First 30 days. • First 60 days. You own the landing page queue and have published the first version of our web development standards. Pages go live on schedule and tracking fires correctly the first time. • First 60 days. • First 90 days. You have presented a 12-month web strategy and roadmap for the portfolio. New pages ship against your standards, and at least one A/B test win has measurably lifted conversion rate. • First 90 days. • Details
Responsibilities
• Own web development strategy. Set the roadmap for landing pages and websites across every brand: platforms, CMS, hosting, templates, and what we build versus buy. Lead migrations when we outgrow a tool. • Own web development strategy. • Set the technical standards. Define and document the coding, performance, QA, and tracking standards every page ships against, and hold the line on them. • Set the technical standards. • Raise the bar for others. Review work from contractors, agency partners, and future hires, and mentor developers as the team grows. • Raise the bar for others. • Partner with leadership. Turn business goals into a web plan, scope and prioritize projects, and report on conversion and site performance across the portfolio. • Partner with leadership. • Build landing pages at volume. Design and develop high-converting campaign pages in Unbounce and custom HTML/CSS/JS, often several per week across multiple brands and case types. • Build landing pages at volume. • Build and maintain brand websites. Develop new pages, templates, and features on WordPress (custom themes). • Build and maintain brand websites. • Ship A/B tests. Build page variants, partner with media buyers on hypotheses, and iterate based on results. • Ship A/B tests. • Protect performance. Hit Core Web Vitals targets on mobile, where most of our traffic lands. Optimize images, scripts, fonts, and third-party tags. • Protect performance. • Implement tracking correctly. Work in Google Tag Manager, fire pixel and server-side conversion events, and preserve attribution parameters (UTMs, click IDs) through every form submit. • Implement tracking correctly. • Translate design into code. Turn Figma files, mockups, and rough briefs into polished, responsive, accessible pages without hand-holding. • Translate design into code. • Build reusable systems. Create templates and component libraries so the next page ships faster than the last. • Build reusable systems. • Use AI tooling to move faster. Use tools like Claude Code to accelerate builds, set how the team uses them, and hold a high bar for the code that ships. • Use AI tooling to move faster.
Benefits
• To apply: send your resume and 3 to 5 links to live landing pages or websites you built. For each, tell us in a sentence or two what you personally did and how the page performed. Then tell us about one technical standard, platform decision, or migration you led and what changed because of it. Portfolios matter more to us than resumes. • To apply:
