Seqera - Bioinformatics Engineer

• PhD in bioinformatics or a relevant field or Masters + 3 years experience • 4+ years experience relevant to scientific workflows and software development • Experience with orchestrated, and maintained data infrastructures and scalable pipelines for large datasets • Solid track record of production level code in bioinformatics as evidenced by public code repositories, publications, contributions to open source. • Self-motivated and a proactive thinker – can work independently and in teams • Great interpersonal and communication skills. • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. • An eye for detail and well organized. • Creativity & curiosity across all solutions given to clients • How to apply: • How to apply: • Include a link to a public code repository, plus a short narrative (a few paragraphs) that tells us: • What the repository shows about your ability, • How it shows your growth over time, • How you have used AI to accelerate your work without handing over your judgment. • We read the repository and the narrative closely.
