Baringa - Consultant - Senior Consultant, GB Power Market and Flexibility Modelling/Advisory

• Good working knowledge of GB power markets, including wholesale, bBalancing, reserve,  response and capacity markets. • Experience in structuring presentations, translating technical analysis into a clear, compelling narrative for senior stakeholders in the GB power space. • A good foundation in Python and SQL for data analysis and modelling. • Experience using PLEXOS or similar power market modelling software is desirable. • Strong commercial acumen; previous experience with investment models or valuations is desirable. • Experience with commercial structures for flexible power assets, particularly BESS floors, tolls and offtake contracts, is desirable. • Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to clients. • What a career at Baringa will give you • Putting People First. • Baringa is a People First company and wellbeing is at the forefront of our culture.
