Requirements
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree – highly desirable. • At least 3 years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions. • Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word). • Experience with drafting petitions for a range of NIV cases preferred: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc. and/or experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications, preferred. • Experience working with a high volume of active and inactive cases at any one time. • Experience communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients. • You have genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach. • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar. • Sharp eye for attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work. • Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation within the Firm, and industry. • Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload. • Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to state-of-the-art Envoy case processing software to monitor and record all visa petitions. • You have a robust ability to contribute to positive team morale within a remote work environment. • Uphold all of CIP, PC's core values. • Why CIP: CIP P.C. is a highly reputable business immigration law firm that focuses on offering its clients exceptional legal service and support, while ensuring a work-life balance for its employees.
Responsibilities
• Manage high-volume (NIV, PERM and IV) Business Immigration cases end-to-end • high-volume (NIV, PERM and IV) Business Immigration cases • Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided. • Be accountable for the heavy drafting and reviewing of immigration forms and letters based on the analysis of case details, documents, and individual qualifications, as per strict deadlines for a range of NIV, PERM and IV applications (end to end) • NIV, PERM and IV • Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a timely manner • Track case progress within Envoy Global Platform • Flag any ideas for process improvement to the appropriate Attorney/Case Manager. • Handle client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status for key accounts/clients, while providing excellent client service. • Swiftly draft responses to requests for information from government agencies. • Respond to client communication requests – either via client company representatives or directly with the foreign national.
