Responsibilities
• Comply with all policies and standards. • What Are We Looking For? • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of global logistics experience, including top-level organizational responsibility • Deep experience in parcel/LTL/FTL shipping including network optimization, performance monitoring, vendor management, and contract negotiation • Fluency in international logistics with experience in import/export processes and regulations, carrier evaluation/selection, network development, and performance benchmarking • Extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of strong employee relations at all levels • Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment • Proven ability to effectively influence, build trust, communicate and connect with employees at all levels of the department and company • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Personal ethical character that is effective, credible and genuine • Take initiative to identify and anticipate departmental needs and make recommendations for implementation • Ability to travel monthly to both domestic and international locations
Benefits
• Salary Range: You`ll earn between $297,000 - $456,000 annually, depending on experience. • Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 30% of base salary. • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. SanMar's Eastpointe office is located near Seattle, WA and our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. Quarterly travel may be required.
