• Owning end-to-end planning and delivery of the sub-system project across optics, electronics, mechanical, FPGA, and software workstreams, from concept through to design verification and transfer • Building and maintaining the integrated project plan, including scope, schedule, milestones, critical path, and cross-discipline dependencies • Leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and external development partners, coordinating activities and resolving technical and resourcing conflicts to keep delivery on track • Establishing and running effective project governance, including regular reporting, steering reviews, and clear, accurate status communication to senior stakeholders • Owning the RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they affect schedule, cost, or quality • Managing resourcing and capacity across disciplines, forecasting demand and working with functional leads to ensure the right skills are available at the right time • Driving the project through the formal product development lifecycle, ensuring design control, verification and validation, and stage-gate requirements are met • Managing external partners and suppliers, including statements of work, deliverables, and the technical and commercial commitments that underpin the project • Tracking budget, effort, and cost against plan, and providing accurate forecasts to support decision-making • Ensuring project documentation and deliverables meet the quality and traceability standards required for a regulated medical device (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971) • AI is fundamental to our culture — it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate.
