Requirements

• Strong healthcare finance capabilities • Operational discipline and comfort navigating ambiguity • Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution • Willingness to operate in a fast-paced startup environment • Experience in healthcare services, provider organizations, value-based care, digital health, MSOs, or payer contracting environments is strongly preferred. • 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, strategic finance, healthcare finance, accounting, or related fields • Experience working within healthcare services, provider organizations, digital health, MSOs, health plans, or value-based care environments • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency • Experience managing complex operational workflows with strong attention to detail • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment • Experience supporting payer contracting workflows or reimbursement modeling • Familiarity with MSO-PC structures • Understanding of healthcare reimbursement mechanics, claims/payment timing, and provider compensation structures • Exposure to Medicare Advantage and value-based care arrangements • Experience serving as a liaison with healthcare legal counsel • Experience supporting board reporting, fundraising diligence, or strategic planning • CPA, MBA, or healthcare finance background is a plus • What Success Looks Like • Financial operations become increasingly scalable, organized, and proactive • Leadership gains clear visibility into payer economics and company performance • Payer contracting workflows become more coordinated and analytically rigorous • MSO-PC financial operations are managed with strong operational discipline • Finance evolves into a strategic function that supports enterprise growth

Responsibilities

• Financial Operations & Accounting • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting processes • Develop and maintain operational and financial KPI dashboards • Manage cash flow forecasting and runway analyses • Support board and investor reporting preparation • Coordinate accounting operations across MSO and affiliated PC entities • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and management fee tracking • Partner with external accounting firms on monthly close and audit readiness • Payer Contracting & Financial Modeling • Build and maintain financial models for payer contracts and enterprise partnerships • Analyze reimbursement structures, PMPM arrangements, implementation costs, utilization assumptions, and profitability by client • Support pricing analyses and strategic scenario modeling • Track payer contract obligations, renewals, and performance metrics • Partner cross-functionally with operations and clinical leadership to evaluate contract economics • Legal & Cross-Functional Coordination • Serve as a primary finance liaison with healthcare regulatory counsel and contracting attorneys • Coordinate financial inputs and operational workflows related to payer agreements and MSO-PC structures • Help operationalize legal and compliance requirements into finance and reporting processes • Support diligence efforts related to partnerships, audits, and strategic initiatives • Systems & Process Development • Improve finance infrastructure, controls, and operational reporting systems • Implement scalable processes suitable for a rapidly growing healthcare organization • Support vendor management, procurement workflows, and expense oversight • Assist in development of commission tracking and incentive compensation structures
