Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, strategic finance, corporate development, venture finance, startup operations, or a related field. • Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required; experience with Python or data science tools a plus). • Deep interest in and understanding of blockchain, AI, and financial products, including economics, tokenomics, risk management, and treasury operations. • Proven ability to handle novel, cross-functional challenges with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude, delivering results in lean, iterative environments. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to juggle tactical execution and strategic thinking. • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
Responsibilities
• Strategic Finance: Build financial models for commercial partnerships, token economics, and new AI product initiatives. Prepare internal memos, board materials, and analyses to support strategic decision-making. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose optimizations for ecosystem growth. • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Oversee outsourced accounting functions, maintain financial forecast models, assist in annual budgeting, and coordinate treasury operations across multi-signature wallets, on-chain accounts, and off-chain entities. • Operations & Foundation Support: Partner on entity structuring, capital flows, and payment processes with ecosystem partners. Manage fund disbursements, grants programs, and governance protocols for the Sentient Foundation. Identify and implement improvements to financial and operational systems to enhance efficiency and compliance. • Risk & Viability Assessment: Evaluate the financial viability and commercial risks of AI and blockchain products, including pricing strategies, deal structuring, and ecosystem economics. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Finance, Product, Business Operations, and Go-to-Market teams to solve complex problems and drive measurable outcomes.
