• Have 6+ years supporting platform teams, with a preference for data platforms or data products. You’ve built and scaled data platforms before, and know how to make platform roadmaps successful. • Come having built 0->1 platforms. You’re not just comfortable with mature data platforms, but have experience building new systems over long time horizons with rich communication along the way. • Balance independence and strong communication. You don’t need someone to tell you what to build next, are comfortable learning fast and driving priority within your team, and proactively loop in engineering, other PMs, and your stakeholders before decisions land. • Have strong frameworks to build complex platforms with clear sequencing, goals, and progress tracking. You know how to tell the unique story of platform work internally and externally. • Be intensely curious and collaborative, naturally leaning into pairing with other teams to understand their platform needs, translate them into common requirements, and enable them as they develop new features and products. You’ve earned the trust of other teams and engineers with a track record of clear and unemotional decision making. • Be technically sharp with data platform topics. You need to have solid general knowledge of topics like data push/pull, databases and storage, querying, and APIs.
