Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Burmese. • Authentic pronunciation and strong familiarity with the target language through everyday use. • Advanced level of English to understand written instructions. • Contributors must not imitate dialects or accents that are not their own. • Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required. • Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata. • Ability to follow detailed project and recording instructions. • Quiet room or recording space with minimal background noise. • Computer microphone or headset with microphone. • Reliable internet connection. • Ability to access and use an online recording platform.

Responsibilities

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines. • Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions. • Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system. • Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided. • Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
