Requirements

• 5+ years in SEO and organic growth with full ownership of strategy and execution, ideally in a marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer/SMB-facing business. • A demonstrable track record of growing organic acquisition. • Deep SEO fundamentals plus a sharp, current point of view on how AI is reshaping discovery, with evidence you've already been testing. • You build, not just brief. You're comfortable designing and shipping landing pages yourself, working directly in a CMS, and you have enough design taste to make pages that look good and convert. • Programmatic SEO experience: you've shipped template-driven pages at scale from structured data and know how to do it without tripping quality systems. • Strong analytical fluency: GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/Semrush or similar; comfortable in spreadsheets and attribution models. • THIS ROLE ISN'T FOR YOU IF YOU WANT • To set strategy from a deck and hand execution to an agency. Here you own the work and the website. • A big SEO team or a senior expert above you to learn from. You are that person. • A channel where traffic is the goal. You'll be measured on buyers and revenue. • To keep doing classic SEO and treat AI search as a side project. The two are one program here. • Fully remote work. This team is in London 4 days per week. • THE PRACTICALITIES • Location: London HQ, Commercial St, E1 (Liverpool St / Aldgate East) • Work model: Hybrid, 4 days per week on-site • Stage: Post-Series B, hyper-growth • Team: 100+ across London, India, and Pakistan • Reports to: Growth • Culture: High ownership, non-hierarchical, fast-moving. Founder-led with strong opinions loosely held.

• The AI search playbook is being written right now, and almost nobody has run it with a real P&L attached. You'll get to. • This is also a builder's role, not a briefer's role. You own the website as a growth surface. You'll design and ship landing pages, and stand up programmatic templates from our own marketplace data. We care more about taste and what you can build than about how many slides you can produce. Engineering works with you on the deep technical lifts, but the day-to-day craft of the site is yours. • WHAT YOU'LL OWN • The number. New buyers from organic and AI search. You'll be accountable for growing organic at Fleek. • SEO and AI search strategy (AEO/GEO). Baseline and grow our share of voice in Google and LLM answers for the head questions we can't own outright ("best wholesale vintage supplier", "is Fleek legit"). These are won through earned mentions, not your own pages, so you'll build presence across the ecosystem LLMs actually cite: Reddit, YouTube, review sites, and roundups. You'll have our 1,000+ creator roster and UGC engine to deploy. • The website, as a product. You own how the site converts intent into buyers. You'll design and build landing pages, hub-and-spoke topic clusters, and the templates behind our programmatic pages. You're comfortable working directly in the website and shipping changes yourself rather than waiting on a queue. Good design instinct matters here: pages should be fast, clean, and genuinely useful to a savvy reseller. • Content across the full intent curve. Head questions won via citations and UGC. Middle-intent how-to guides (AI-assisted drafts, human-edited). Long-tail programmatic pages generated from our own marketplace data: brand x category x era, per-country shipping and duty pages, vendor pages, and help-centre articles mined from CX tickets. Help centres are an AEO goldmine, and ours is largely untapped. • Technical foundation. Sitemap, schema, product metadata, site speed. You define the roadmap and ship what you can yourself; engineering resource implements the rest with you. • Measurement. Most AI search value is zero-click, so you'll build the instrumentation that keeps the channel honest: share-of-voice tracking on head questions, signup attribution surveys ("How did you hear about us?"), and citation and coverage monitoring. You'll report results in our weekly business review, and your work unlocks budget through stage gates, so rigour matters. • HOW YOU'LL WORK • AI-forward by default. You use LLMs and agents daily to multiply your output: drafting, research, programmatic content pipelines, monitoring. • Builder, not briefer. You'd rather ship the page than write a brief and wait. You can design something that looks good and works, and you can take a template from idea to hundreds of live pages without tripping quality systems. • Experiment-driven. Every initiative ships with a hypothesis, a holdout or baseline, and a kill or scale decision. We don't buy "technical AEO audits" or llms.txt snake oil, and we expect you to know why. The evidence is clear that most AEO advice drives no impact and that purely AI-generated content ranks worse, so you focus on the small set of things that actually move the number. • Autonomous. There's no SEO expert above you to set direction. You'll get context, data access, engineering support, and budget. The strategy is yours to defend. • The problem is real: 9 million items saved from landfill since 2022. Your work has tangible, measurable impact. • The AI is genuinely novel: FleekSort is an AI model fine-tuned on secondhand fashion, turning an opaque manual trade into a structured global inventory layer. This isn't a GPT wrapper. • The growth is exceptional: Tripling year-on-year, ~$50M raised, Series B closed. Backed by a16z, Y Combinator, HV Capital, with advisors from Depop, Shopify, and Postmates. • The timing is perfect: The secondhand market is projected to reach $350B by 2027. You're catching a wave, and the AI search playbook is being written right now. • You'll have real ownership: 100-person company, no bureaucracy.
