Requirements
• Experience with financial modeling that is understandable and insightful for digital health, Friendly PC Models (MSO/PC), and Healthcare IT sectors. • Strong operational experience in Digital Health, MSO/PC models or Healthcare IT required. • Passionate about helping venture-backed startups succeed is preferred but not mandatory as a qualification for the role of CFO at Burkland. ✅
Responsibilities
• Apply knowledge and experience to partner with clients on forward-looking finance. • Become a trusted ally to CEOs, management teams, and investors through efficient work and effective communication of financial insights. • Develop understandable, insightful, and adaptable financial models for the client's business needs. • Create and present financial strategy recommendations tailored to each company’s unique situation. • Prepare and deliver comprehensive finance sections for client board meetings or attend as required when asked by clients. • Actively participate in fundraising processes, including sizing rounds, modeling cap table scenarios/dilution, assisting with pitch deck preparation, making investor introductions, and taking part in investor pitches. • Lead PC/MSO finance operations by managing close budgeting/forecasting activities, KPI dashboards, board updates across entities. • Oversee MSO service agreement compliance with provider compliance to ensure alignment of profitability goals between the two divisions within a company structure. • Drive performance and scalability improvements in revenue cycle planning, vendor spend tightening, control strengthening for audit readiness, and support growth initiatives like new ventures or mergers/acquisitions (de novos). • Identify cross-sell opportunities with Burkland’s bookkeeping, tax, HR services to make introductions and referrals. • Ensure overhead tasks such as timesheets submission, invoice approvals, client reporting updates are completed accurately and on time without reminders.
