Responsibilities
• As a School Partnerships Specialist, you'll be ClassDojo's on-the-ground champion in one of our priority markets: Atlanta (GA), Los Angeles (CA), Miami-Dade (FL), Louisville (KY) and New York City (NY). Your mission is to help schools build stronger family engagement and foster positive school culture — one school leader conversation, one teacher presentation, and one community at a time. • This is a field-based role for someone who is deeply motivated by the belief that every school deserves the tools and support to connect meaningfully with families. You'll spend your time visiting schools, sitting down with principals to understand their unique challenges, and serving as an advisor to school leaders and teachers who are looking to strengthen communication with families, build more inclusive school communities, and develop positive culture from the classroom up. You'll leverage your deep local relationships and your credibility as a fellow education leader to open doors and build trust. You're someone who thrives on autonomy, is energized by being out in schools, and is motivated by a performance-based compensation model that rewards results. • Schedule and facilitate one-on-one meetings with school leaders through email outreach, phone calls, referrals, and personal networking. • Advise principals, assistant principals, and teachers on how ClassDojo can support their goals around parent communication, community building, and positive classroom culture. • Conduct schoolwide teacher-facing presentations to introduce ClassDojo and drive teacher sign-ups. • Attend principal association meetings, regional education events, resource fairs, and back-to-school events to build pipeline and schedule school leader meetings. • Maintain a target pace of ~6 school site visits per week across 3 field days, with remaining time dedicated to outreach and scheduling. • Track and report on key activity metrics including visits booked, visits completed, teacher sign-ups generated, and school leader engagements secured. • Collaborate with ClassDojo's mentor community to leverage introductions and accelerate relationship-building in your market. • Serve as a trusted local voice for ClassDojo, building the groundwork for deeper district-level partnerships.
