Requirements
• 5–7 years in investment banking / structured lending / credit / treasury / risk / buy-side. Direct structured credit or margin/repo/collateralized lending exposure is strongly preferred. • Bachelor's degree. • Credit judgment: Demonstrated end-to-end counterparty due diligence (financials, liquidity, leverage, concentration, collateral analysis, covenants, early-warning indicators). • Structuring literacy: Familiar with term sheets, security/collateral packages, covenants, margining, and basics of ISDA/CSA, GMRA/GMSLA, or loan agreements; able to translate risk appetite into structure, triggers, and reporting. • Risk tooling: Practical use of stress/scenario analysis, sensitivities, and simple VaR/limit frameworks for decision support (no need to be a quant, but you know the levers and caveats). • Modeling: Experience with modern tooling and ai to get the most out of modeling scenarios • Documentation & communication: Crisp IC memos, red-lined edits, and concise counterparty comms; able to own meeting notes and action logs without supervision. • Process hygiene: Diligence checklists, data rooms, trackers, and audit-ready foldering; low error rate and fast iteration. • External presence: Comfortable running parts of counterparty meetings, chasing deliverables, and negotiating factual points with professionalism. • Certifications: CFA or FRM , or equivalent professional path in progress. • Mindset: High-ownership, low-ego, reliable under time pressure; creative about finding safe capacity and better economics within risk limits. • Crypto: Interest welcomed; prior crypto experience not required (we’ll train on the domain specifics). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, relationship-building expertise within the investment community, and the ability to collaborate effectively with an executive team. • Ability to adapt swiftly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Enthusiastic and driven to achieve high-quality standards. • Structured credit: Previous experience in securitization, repo, or margin-based lending frameworks. • TradFi background: Solid exposure to collateral and margin frameworks within traditional financial services. • Crypto literacy: General familiarity with Bitcoin; while preferred, domain training will be provided. • Technical proficiency: Coding ability or experience with modern data modeling tools. • A dedicated workspace. • A reliable internet connection with the fastest speed possible in your area. • Alignment with Our Values and the Xapo Values-Driven Leadership principles.
Responsibilities
