Requirements
• Curious about the future of AI and emerging technologies, have a strong sense of ownership with enthusiasm for applying your legal expertise to cutting-edge products. • Experienced in navigating fast-paced, high-growth environments, with the ability to manage ambiguity and make informed, timely decisions. • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and global colleagues. • Proactive, business-minded, and committed to delivering practical solutions that support both compliance and commercial success. • Hunger to be exceptional at your job. • Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant APAC jurisdiction • 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience (in-house experience in technology or SaaS strongly preferred). • Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements. • Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property. • Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines • This role is remote, so it can be executed from anywhere in the APAC region with the ability to operate in [GMT+10] timezones. We’re particularly looking for candidates based in Singapore or Australia.
Responsibilities
• Learning & development: ElevenLabs proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend. • Social travel: We also provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year, however you choose. • Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia and Italy. • Co-working: If you’re not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend. • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales transactions in APAC, including enterprise customer contracts • Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams to design and implement strategies that support high-growth go-to-market initiatives. • Monitor and interpret evolving region specific legal and regulatory developments, including data protection, technology, and AI-related frameworks, and apply this knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment. • Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies to reflect regional requirements and industry best practices. • Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice to cross-functional teams, tailoring advice to enable responsible growth and innovation. • Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function, fostering a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture.
