Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred • 10–15+ years of experience in Clinical Documentation Improvement, Care Management, Utilization Management, revenue cycle operations, or healthcare consulting • Deep expertise in DRGs, denial prevention and management, documentation workflows, and revenue integrity operations • Demonstrated success improving care progression, utilization management, and financial performance across healthcare organizations • Experience partnering with clinicians, physician advisors, and operational leaders to drive transformation initiatives • Strong understanding of EHR workflows, clinical documentation processes, and healthcare operational systems • Experience leading operational improvement or transformation initiatives within complex health systems • Ability to translate operational and clinical challenges into scalable, AI-enabled workflow solutions • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills • PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/TECHNOLOGIES • Epic (CDI, HIM, CM modules) • Certifications: CCDS, CCM preferred • NLP / AI tools familiarity • Revenue cycle platforms • Salary range: $250,000-$350,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. Responsibilities
• Lead AI-enabled CDI, Care Management, and Utilization Management transformation engagements within Chartis’ Performance Transformation Line of Business, directing engagement teams, guiding strategic problem solving, and overseeing analyses, client deliverables, and implementation activities • Design AI native CDI, care progression, and utilization review workflows to enable business transformation • Outline business value proposition and savings through analytics and AI into workflows • Align clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders around transformation priorities • Develop scalable AI-enabled offerings across revenue integrity and clinical operations that advance the firm’s thought leadership through distinctive insights, innovative solutions, and new service offerings. • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients, drawing upon healthcare knowledge and insights to surface and discuss issues within and beyond the scope of specific consulting engagements • Embody the role of people leader by cultivating strong relationships with colleagues, as well as mentoring and developing consulting colleagues • Help maintain a collaborative culture that attracts world-class, passionate, and mission-driven consultants
