OneStudyTeam - Director, Engineering

• BA or BS degree from college or university. • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years successfully managing engineering teams. • Proven experience as a "manager of managers," directly leading and developing Engineering Managers and Technical Leads. • Track record of owning the execution and on-time delivery of complex, data-heavy software products and platforms. • Strong technical background in scalable architecture, cloud infrastructure, and handling complex data pipelines or predictive models. • Deep operational expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint capacity planning, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) workflows. • Ability to actively participate in and guide technical design reviews, ensuring platform stability and minimal technical debt. • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to translate technical blockers and project risks for non-technical stakeholders. • Experience fostering a high-accountability, collaborative team culture that maintains high morale during rapid growth. • Prior experience working within HealthTech, Biotech, or the Clinical Trials/Life Sciences industry is highly preferred. • The expected pay range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000 USD per year for full time team members. • We value diversity and believe the unique contributions each of us brings drives our success.
