Bybit - Country Manager, El Salvador
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related discipline. • 10+ years of experience within financial services, banking, payments, fintech, or digital asset industries. • Prior experience in a senior management, country leadership, or executive role. • Strong understanding of the El Salvador financial services, payments, and virtual asset regulatory landscape. • Established relationships within the local financial services ecosystem, including regulators, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders, are highly desirable. • Strong commercial, operational, and leadership capabilities. • Must be a citizen of El Salvador and maintain primary residence in El Salvador, available to perform the role locally on a full-time basis. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Profile • Respected business leader with strong local market knowledge and credibility. • Commercially minded while maintaining a strong appreciation for regulatory and risk considerations. • Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. • Strong decision-making and stakeholder management skills. • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and ownership. • Why Join UsAt Bybit, we are committed to fostering a supportive and enriching work environment. Responsibilities
• Lead the day-to-day management and oversight of the Company's VASP and EMI operations in El Salvador. • Execute the local business strategy in alignment with Group objectives and regulatory requirements. • Ensure all regulated activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, licence conditions, and internal policies. • Act as the primary representative of the Company with local regulators, financial institutions, banking partners, and external stakeholders. • Oversee operational, compliance, financial, and risk management activities within the jurisdiction. • Drive operational excellence, customer experience, and business growth initiatives. • Establish and maintain effective governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks. • Ensure sufficient resources, controls, and processes are in place to support the Company's licensed activities. • Build, lead, and develop the local management team and foster a strong culture of accountability and compliance. • Provide regular reporting and updates to Group leadership and governance committees.
