Requirements

• 7+ years experience in analytics, data science, or related roles, including 3+ years leading managers or senior ICs • Proven experience partnering with executive and senior leadership, using data to influence strategy and company-level decisions • Demonstrated ability to design and evolve analytics and data science organizations, including team structure, standards, and operating models • Strong technical foundation with experience working alongside data engineering on modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Looker), with fluency in SQL and Python • Sound architectural judgment, with the ability to balance speed vs. scalability and clearly explain tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to prioritize competing initiatives and deliver results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments • We’ve got you covered: • At Super.com, we believe in supporting our team so they can thrive—both at work and in life. • Remote-First Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the world and choose the hours that suit you best. Responsibilities

• Oversee the analytics and data science team to ensure alignment with business goals. • Develop strategies for effective use of big data in decision making processes across various departments within Super.com. • Lead cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, analysts, and other stakeholders, on projects related to analytics initiatives. • Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for leveraging insights from data science in driving business growth. • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on career development within the organization. • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Super.com's analytics needs, staying informed about best practices and innovations. • Participate actively in meetings with other department heads or executives discussing data strategy for the company. • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations regarding data privacy and protection within Canada/US jurisdictions where Super operates. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of business needs to inform analytics projects effectively, ensnerating alignment between technical capabilities and strategic objectives.
