Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Compliance Advisory, Risk Consulting, or related customer-facing roles. • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, compliance programs, risk management, and governance frameworks. • Experience supporting enterprise software evaluations and complex B2B sales cycles. • Ability to communicate technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences. • Strong presentation, facilitation, proposal-writing, and business communication skills. • Experience with regulatory technology, GRC platforms, compliance automation, or adjacent solutions is highly desirable. • Demonstrated executive presence and ability to engage senior decision makers. • Self-starter with strong business acumen and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. • Career Growth Opportunity • This role is intentionally designed as a career-development pathway for individuals interested in expanding their commercial leadership responsibilities. • High-performing Solutions Consultants will gain direct exposure to enterprise selling, account strategy, executive relationship management, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and deal execution. • Individuals who demonstrate strong commercial aptitude and a desire to pursue quota-carrying responsibilities may have the opportunity to transition into an Account Executive, Strategic Account Director, or other direct sales leadership role over time. • AscentAI is committed to promoting from within whenever possible and providing team members with opportunities to broaden their responsibilities and accelerate their professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with executive, business, and technical stakeholders to understand regulatory, compliance, risk, and operational requirements. • Design and deliver compelling demonstrations tailored to customer use cases, business objectives, and regulatory environments. • Configure and manage proof-of-concept projects that showcase business value and solution fit. • Serve as a trusted advisor to Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Risk Officers, General Counsel, and other senior leaders. • Partner with Account Executives to develop opportunity strategies, competitive positioning, and win plans. • Support proposal development, RFP/RFI responses, pricing discussions, ROI analyses, and business case creation. • Represent AscentAI at conferences, webinars, customer meetings, and industry events. • Support partner-led opportunities involving LogicGate, IBM OpenPages, Protecht, Resolver, and other strategic ecosystem partners. • Provide market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and product enhancements. • Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless transitions from sale to implementation. • What Success Looks Like • Consistently delivers high-impact demonstrations that advance opportunities through the sales process. • Builds credibility with executive-level stakeholders and becomes a trusted industry advisor. • Improves win rates through effective discovery, solution positioning, and competitive differentiation. • Contributes to increased partner-sourced revenue and successful strategic partnerships. • Provides actionable customer insights that influence product direction and market positioning.
