Requirements
• Hiring Process Management: You will design and manage the full hiring workflow for each candidate — from application to offer — structuring interview loops, briefing hiring managers (including co-founders), and ensuring every process runs smoothly and on time. • Hiring Process Management: • Offer Management & Negotiation: You will own the full offer lifecycle — crafting competitive offers, leading offer presentations to candidates, and negotiating compensation packages with confidence. You will be the go-to person for candidate questions on equity, contracts and compensation, ensuring every candidate feels informed and valued throughout the process. • Offer Management & Negotiation: • ATS Ownership: You will ensure our ATS (Ashby) is kept up to date, with every application properly tracked and processed. You will be the reference point for pipeline visibility across the team. • ATS Ownership: • Cross-functional Partnership: You will work hand-in-hand with our in-house recruiter and partner directly with the founding team and hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor on talent strategy and market intelligence. • Cross-functional Partnership: • Experience: 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong, proven track record — ideally within frontier AI labs, AI research organizations, or top-tier engineering companies. • AI Research Recruiting — a must: A demonstrated ability to recruit Research Scientists and Research Engineers from frontier AI labs. You understand what makes research profiles unique, how to assess them, and how to sell a research mission to world-class candidates. • AI Research Recruiting — a must: • AI Network & Tech Recruiting Pedigree: Deep, proven recruiting experience within the AI & tech ecosystem — with an established network of AI researchers, ML engineers and senior technical profiles you can activate from day one. You know the market, the players, and how to position an ambitious research lab against the most competitive employers in the world. • AI Network & Tech Recruiting Pedigree: • Process & Systems: Highly organized and methodical, with strong experience on leading ATS platforms. Experience with Ashby is a strong plus. • Process & Systems: • Offer & Compensation Fluency: Strong knowledge of compensation structures in tech — including equity (stock options, RSUs, cliff/vesting mechanics), salary benchmarking and offer negotiation. Responsibilities
• Hands-on Technical Recruiting: You will own and drive end-to-end recruitment for our New York and Montreal offices — with the flexibility to support hiring across our other global offices. You will be a key force in shaping how AMI attracts world-class AI researchers, Research Scientists and Research Engineers at the frontier of intelligence. • Candidate Screening & Experience: You will conduct first-round screening interviews, ensuring every applicant experiences a rigorous, thoughtful and human hiring process that reflects AMI's standards.
