The Economist Group - Media Client Partner
Requirements
• Relevant experience in media, advertising, B2B sales or National Press sales • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets. • Established agency relationships essential, Publicis Groupe would be a priority • Experience selling digital advertising, integrated media or marketing solutions is desirable. • Strong relationship-building, communication and presentation skills. • Commercially curious with the ability to understand client challenges and develop effective solutions. • Well organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience using Salesforce; familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or MediaRadar would be an advantage. • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a desire to learn and develop.
Responsibilities
• Build and develop relationships with media agencies and clients across the UK • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, developing a strong understanding of clients' business objectives and marketing priorities. • Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, account planning and relationship development. • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets. • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching through to negotiation and campaign delivery. • Develop a thorough understanding of The Economist's media portfolio, including digital, print, podcasts, events, branded content and sponsorship opportunities. • Work closely with internal teams to develop creative, insight-led proposals that address client objectives. • Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and account activity within Salesforce. • Represent The Economist Group professionally at client meetings, presentations and industry events, acting as an ambassador for one of the world's most respected media brands.
