Requirements
• You have a law degree from an accredited university and are qualified to practice law in the UK or Sweden • You have 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal team • You are experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, particularly in technology, media, AI, or IP-focused environments • You are comfortable working across global teams and time zones, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities • You communicate complex legal concepts in a clear, accessible way for non-legal partners • You bring a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making • You have experience supporting business development or partnership-driven organizations • You are curious about emerging technologies and understand the legal considerations around AI and digital distribution • You collaborate effectively and take ownership of your work while contributing to a supportive team environment • ## Where You'll Be • This role is based in London or Stockholm. • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities
• Partner with Business Development teams to support partnerships that enable Spotify distribution across platforms, devices, and services • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology, AI, hardware, and distribution partnerships • Provide clear, practical legal guidance on complex deal structures, risks, and regulatory considerationsCollaborate with cross-functional partners across finance, accounting, and licensing to support agreement execution and implementation • Translate legal concepts into clear guidance that informs business strategy and decision-making • Help improve and scale contract templates, processes, and ways of working to support global growth • Support teams in navigating internal policies, approval processes, and evolving legal frameworks
