Requirements

• Direct software sales experience of at least 15+ years. • Proven track record in selling both on-premise and cloud-based solutions into large enterprises as well as SaaS companies. • Demonstrated experience working with key verticals: online retail, e-commerce, ad-tech, gaming, and financial services. • Significant experience in selling to the infrastructure space (OS, JVM, Container) versus application software sales. • Confidence in partnering closely with a Technical Sales Engineer for product demonstrations requiring technical POCs. • Experience working on enterprise products based on Java-based Open Source technology.

Responsibilities

• To sell cloud services to enterprise clients. • Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts in the New York City area as well as other major cities listed such as Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Montreal, and remote locations across the United States. • Identifying new sales opportunities within targeted industries that require cloud solutions to enhance their business operations or IT infrastructure. • Developing a comprehensive understanding of enterprise clients' needs through regular meetings, calls, and presentations in order to tailor our services accordingly. • Collaborating with the technical team to understand product capabilities and limitations for accurate sales pitches and consultation sessions. • Managing account portfolios by regularly reviewing client status reports, forecasting future needs based on business growth trends or changes within their industry sector. • Creating customized proposals that align our cloud services with the specific requirements of enterprise clients to ensure a win-win situation for both parties involved in negotiations and contracts. • Attending networking events and conferences related to technology, sales, and business development as part of ongoing efforts towards expanding client base and staying updated about industry trends. • Keeping abreast with competitors' offerings by conducting market research regularly for informed decision making during negotiations or when suggesting alternatives in the event that our services do not meet clients’ expectations. • Providing exceptional customer service to enterprise accounts, addressing their concerns promptly and effectively through various communication channels such as phone calls, emails, video conferences etc., while maintaining a positive relationship with them throughout contract renewals or changes in business needs.
