Requirements
• 8+ years of experience across corporate development, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, management consulting, and/or strategic finance. • Meaningful experience evaluating or executing acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, or other complex transactions. • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. • Experience developing investment theses, market maps, competitive landscapes, target screens, or strategic recommendations for senior executives. • A high degree of ownership and the ability to drive multiple opportunities forward in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. • Comfort leading diligence workstreams and coordinating cross-functional input from Finance, Legal, Product, Clinical, Operations, Growth, Data, and other internal teams. • Ability to influence senior leaders and synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations. • WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS • Act with our members in mind. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. The base salary for this role is $187,000 - $220,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired at another level. Responsibilities
• As Thyme Care continues to scale, we are focused on identifying the highest-impact ways to accelerate our growth, both organically and through acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships. • The Director of Corporate Development will lead Thyme Care’s inorganic growth agenda, with a primary focus on acquisitions and investments. You will translate company priorities into actionable growth theses, develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, and lead the evaluation and execution of transactions that advance Thyme Care’s long-term strategy. • This is a hands-on role that will combine strategy, relationship development, financial analysis, and transaction execution. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to determine where Thyme Care should build, buy, partner, or invest and help turn the highest-priority opportunities into action. • Lead end-to-end evaluation of strategic opportunities, including financial modeling, diligence, and structuring, partnering closely with the executive team on go/no-go recommendations • Drive acquisitions and investments from initial evaluation through close, including financial modeling, valuation, structuring, diligence, negotiation, and execution. • Build and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, banks, and strategic counterparties, and translate complex transaction structures into clear recommendations for leadership and the board • Own analysis of complex deal mechanics and synthesize findings into board-ready materials that drive decisions • Help build the processes and infrastructure required for a disciplined and scalable corporate development function. • WHAT YOU’VE DONE
